The City of Castroville offers on-call bulk and brush collection for residents. This service is available by request only and is not part of the weekly trash route.
- Each pickup may include up to 8 cubic yards of material (about 6 ft x 6 ft x 6 ft, roughly the size of a small pickup truck bed heaped full).

✅ Acceptable Items:
- Household furniture (couches, chairs, tables, mattresses)
- Appliances (must be emptied and free of refrigerants/freon)
- Yard waste such as branches, limbs, and brush (cut and bundled when possible)
- Bagged leaves and grass clippings
- Other large household items that don’t fit in your trash cart
❌ Not Accepted:
- Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, tires, batteries)
- Automotive parts or engines
Please place items neatly at the curb in an accessible location on your scheduled day.
