City Closures

The primary measure to mitigate the spread of this virus is social distancing. To facilitate this, we have authorized the closure of non- essential services until further notice.

The primary measure to mitigate the spread of this virus is social distancing. Social distancing involves creating 6’ feet of separation between gatherings of individuals in well- ventilated areas.

To facilitate this, we have authorized the closure of non- essential services until further notice.
Non- essential services are the Castroville Regional Library, the RV Park reservations and facilities, and the City Pool.

Tourist locations in the trust of the City are also considered non- essential and will also be closed.

Mitigating community spread will also include postponing all City Council, Boards, and Commissions meetings in public venues until further notice.

Mitigation will also include suspension of all Special Events and all City-sponsored events until further notice.
