BULKY WASTE PICKUP
From appliances to furniture, if you have old junk sitting around your house or garage that you need to get rid of, your chance is coming up. Bulky waste pickups are provided two times per year, approximately every six months, in April and November.
What’s accepted: Household trash, bicycles, household furniture, washers, dryers, stoves, appliances (as long as any Freon has been removed and tagged as such by a qualified technician) and loose brush. Small items should be boxed, bundled or bagged.
What’s NOT accepted: Hazardous waste, tires, car parts, concrete, dirt, construction debris, outdoor fencing, oil, liquids of any kind, hot tubs, railroad ties, yard waste, or appliances with Freon. Televisions and computers will NOT be picked up.
You may start placing your items in front of your property after the City Wide Yard Sale. VACANT lots will NOT be serviced! There is a limit of eight (8) cubic yards of bulk waste per residence.
Place your bulk waste within three (3) feet of the curb, paved surface of the roadway or closest accessible roadway, avoiding placing anything under power lines or trees.
Items that contain Freon will not be accepted without a tag from a qualified technician showing all Freon has been removed
Do not mix scrap iron, wire or any other metal objects with brush and shrubbery placed on your curb for pickup-
