On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross North America, passing over Mexico, the United States, and Canada. A total solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the Sun. The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk. In Castroville this will begin at 1:31 p.m. and last for 2 minutes and 25 seconds.
On the weekend of April 5-7 there will be activities in Castroville and throughout Medina County. Make plans to join us early. Space will be limited and if the 2024 eclipse is like the 2017, you will want to make sure you have made reservations.
Please check back to this page as we add more details and information. We look forward to seeing you in 2024!
