City Council & Mayor
Councilmembers are the city's legislators. Their primary duty is policymaking, which includes identifying the needs of local residents, formulating programs to meet the changing requirements of the community, and measuring the effectiveness of ongoing municipal services.

City Administrator
The City Administrator, working closely with the Mayor, provides leadership and direction in the implementation of City Council policy objectives, and administration of City services and programs with the goal to ensure accountability, community responsiveness and excellent customer service.

The Community Development Department activities encompass planning and urban design, neighborhood planning, zoning and development review, permitting, building code enforcement, historic preservation, and staff support to various boards and commissions.

Municipal Court
