Government

  1. City Council & Mayor

    Councilmembers are the city's legislators. Their primary duty is policymaking, which includes identifying the needs of local residents, formulating programs to meet the changing requirements of the community, and measuring the effectiveness of ongoing municipal services.

  2. City Administrator

    The City Administrator, working closely with the Mayor, provides leadership and direction in the implementation of City Council policy objectives, and administration of City services and programs with the goal to ensure accountability, community responsiveness and excellent customer service.

  3. Community Services

    The City of Castroville offers a variety of services to its residents including the Municipal Airport, Public Library, Parks, and access to the Swimming Pool.

  5. Municipal Court

    The City of Castroville Municipal Court has jurisdiction over Class C misdemeanor offenses and over offenses occurring within the city limits that are a violation of a State Statute or City ordinance.
